First Friday - May 1, 2009

This was my first time attending First Friday. If you don't know what it is, I summed it up. On the first Friday of every month, this event is set up downtown in the art district of Las Vegas. It's $2.00 to get in. There is tons of unique art, live music here and there, food, lots of people and free trolly rides!

Brooke and Derrick came with me and we all had a good time. I found a lime green pair of earrings for my moms Mother's day gift. They were handmade, and a good price. Also picked up a pinup girl button while Brooke got one that read "Hello - my name is DORK" and Derrick got Pokemon.
We found some looks that stood out and watch some crazy break dancing (I'll have those photos posted in another blog). For now, check out these looks and misc. photos!

This man was the lead singer of a two man band. I didn't hear the name of who they were, but they had the most decent music at the event.
